Frequently Asked Questions

I don't want to give away any secrets when I'm in trance. Is that possible?

No. It's not very often you will need to say anything, just lie back and enjoy the experience. Bear in mind that Hypnotherapy is not the same as stage hypnosis and you are in full control at all times. You can even get up and walk around if you want to.

Will I lose consciousness whilst in Hypnosis?

No. Hypnotherapy is like day dreaming. You can go into a deep trance, but you will never lose consciousness. You are always fully aware and in control.

I'm a little scared - is it dangerous?

Not at all. It's perfectly safe and natural. You are in control at all times.

Can anyone be hypnotised?

Almost all people can go into a at least a light trance, which is all that is needed to reach their goals. Everyone can benefit from Hypnotherapy to some extent.

Will I remember what happened during Hypnosis?

You will remember some things but not all, but this is the way the memory normally works. For instance, sometimes we 'zone out' when we're out jogging, or driving a familiar route. Or even watching the television. It's much the same in Hypnosis.
